Popcorn Cup: Free Printable Template

June 30, 2011

popcorn cups pictureWe enjoy movie nights as a family.  We all get our doonas, pillows, Strawberry Jam floor cushions and all crash somewhere in the lounge room together.

I sometimes make popcorn for our movie nights too. So this school holidays I’ve made Popcorn Cups.  They are easy to make and it will only cost you the paper you need to buy.

Popcorn Cups

Cardstock (paper works too but for best results use printable cardstock)

Scissors

Sticky tape

***********

What to do:

1. Print Popcorn Cup template (below).

2. Cut out template.

3. Fold at each red line to form the sides of the cup.

4. Fold the bottom numbered section in order. When you get to number 4, slip it in the slit where number 1 is. This way, you won’t need to tape the bottom; it holds itself.

5. Fold number five and tape to the inside of the cup to hold it together.

Adorable. I saw some of the plastic ones in General Trader the other day and nearly bought some – but this is heaps more fun for me and the kids to make for our next movie night…xx

Thanks for the popcorn cup template. I LOVE it. The kids do too. going to use a small version (printed in portrait rather than landscape) to put on a birthday party table on the weekend. Should look great!
