11. Obstical Course/Cubbyhouse
Making a cubbyhouse is as easy as putting a sheet or blanket over a table, and placing pillows underneath. This can also be used as an indoor obstacle course.
A playground is an ideal obstacle course but it’s easy to create a simple one at home. Here are some ideas of what to use:
* Witches hats
* Cone markers
* Plank of wood on the ground
* Large stepping stones
* Old tyres
* Hula hoops laid on the ground
* Door mats or foam squares
* Sturdy plastic tubs
* Large saucepans
* Browse a second hand shop for useful items

Thank you for such a useful post (as always). I am finding it hard to choose a favourite, though I do love the colour hunt, teaching colour, having fun and iincluding some photography in the mix *love*. I also think I would find it near on impossible to get my daughter out of a play garden but it is pouring here in Melbourne at the moment so the colour hunt is on!
Hey check this out too http://www.theidearoom.net/2011/04/hopscotch-play-mat-by-a-girl-and-a-glue-gun.html it was in Naomi from ‘sevencherubs’ treasure hunt yesterday. I absolutely loved this idea and have book marked it for later. I think it looks like something you might enjoy.
xo
It’s such a windy, wet day here, so I’m looking forward to trying activities from some of the other mums. I like the obstacle course!
Thanks so much for the inclusion, Kell.

Emailed this to myself to be printed and posted on the fridge!!
Thank you so much for including some of our ideas! There are some brilliant things in that list and I look forward to browsing through it and trying some out!
Kelly I LOVE this list, and am printing out to use with my boys. I love how creative the ideas are, and that they dont require you to buy something special. Well done!!!
Great list! I am just finishing looking at everything and I am so inspired. Thank you for including me! =)
A brilliantly formatted collection of links Kelley! Love the variety of activities and thanks for including mine.
very nice,all the listed ideas are ever blowing one.i like this very much.
OK first take a good look at your self. What do you like what do you not like so much. Work on that which you do not like. But do not listen to other people their opinions do not matter only yours does. Work on having the attitude that this is who youre and if they dont like it they can go to hell.
hi. i love all the ideas you came up with, they are great
i have just one question for you. do you have a book or something i can purchase with all these great ideas ?
Hi to all, how is everything, I think every one is getting more from this web page, and your views are pleasant
in support of new visitors.
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
