I was with my sister this morning. Her child had a dirty nappy so she proceeded to pull a nappy from her bag and inside, was a nappy sack ready to go! I was so impressed! What a great way to organise nappies when you are out.
There was no trying to pull out a bag with one hand while holding a dirty nappy in the other. And would someone tell me why nappy sacks never come out from the packet one at a time? Ah, but no more. LOOK!

Now while we are talking about nappies, I want to tell you about my recent discovery. Nappy Wallets! Have you heard about them? Nappy Wallets hold nappies (with nappy sacks inside) and wipes. The wallet can be tossed in the bottom of the stroller, left in the boot of the car and is small enough to fit in most handbags and nappy bags. All this is awesome but what I love most about Nappy Wallets is the little bit of happiness I get when I pull it out. Another ‘Love the Moment’ moment. Look at these gorgeous handcrafted designs by ZeeBee Creations. Don’t they just make you happy?
Thanks to Little Yon Yon, Be A Fun Mum readers have the chance to buy a wallet at 10% off by using this special code at checkout: BFUNMUM. Just head over to the website by clicking on the above picture. Valid until 7th May 2010.
I love my nappy wallet and you will too. Trust me

such a shame I don’t get to change nappies anymore, your sister is brilliant!
Isn’t she just! HA! Are you SURE you want to change nappies? lol. I just wish I knew it when I had my first!
Hehehe… I always do the sack-inside-the-nappy trick too! Saves a lot of hassle when you’re out and about. Love the Nappy Wallets!
Sure does make things hassle free! Nappy Wallets are a wonderful invention!
Well, we are now down to just night nappies here but I have two sisters who are hoping to start their families soon …. these will be a great gift idea – they are so cute!
Yes, a wonderful gift idea. And also pass on the nappy sack idea! I WISH I would have thought of it myself when I had my first. Only four babies late. lol
HA HA i think it is a great idea kel , it is a love the moment that is for sure and i learnt that of a friend!
doing a great job on this website kel xx
Thanks Em for the great idea. And thank your friend too. xx
Love the nappy sack in nappy idea… Can’t believe it has never occured to me to do that! Also love the Nappy Wallets. Perfect gift for a new mum. Might have to check them out a bit closer…
I KNOW! It never occurred to me either! A Nappy Wallet is a perfect gift. Fill it with travel wipes and some nappies (with sacks inside). Great for a baby shower too.
What a great idea! No more trying to be a contortionist and gymnast in one! Thanks for sharing.
HA! That’s it!
This is one of those “Wow, why didn’t I think of that?” moments! (I’ve had plenty of chances to think of it, with five little ones.)
Thanks for the great idea, and the wallets look really neat!
I know Polly. That is what it was like for me too. I’ve got four and I WISH I would have known about it earlier. It would have saved me so much time and stress.
Feeling very old … when my kids were little, snappies (fasteners on cloth nappies) were the big thing … LOL …
Hahaha, Janet. Guess what? I lived next door to the man who inventing the snappy. So there you go.
Did he end up a millionaire??!
Well, he did well for himself judging my his gorgeous house. He was a South African who moved to Australia.
I have a nappy wallet that zips. Love it to pieces. But my youngest (age 3) is potty training now, so it’ on it’s way out (sigh).
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours offers a plethora of good things, too.
And I’m curious, how did you find my blog?
Cheers,
Terresa
My yongest will be three end of this year. I know everyone says it but they really do grow so fast.
How did I find your blog? I love blog surfing. I love finding new things to read and meeting new people. I can’t tell you exactly how I found your blog because when I blog surf, I like to go random. This means, usually, I connect to one blog through another and then another. It’s fun: the unknowing.
I’ll pop over again to say hi soon.
Kelly
Now there’s a great idea! Thanks for sharing Kelly. Still trying to toilet train my eldest (she’ll be 3 soon and flatly refusing to use the toilet) so at least here is a positive side to nappies…thanks!
Some children just take long than others. I wouldn’t stress too much Renee or judge her by what the other children are doing.
Oooooh, so cute! I love colouful things and these wallets are so vibrant!
BTW, honey baby: you got an award from me
Drop by here to pick it up: http://www.warsawmommy.com/?p=1004
OMg I am so excited. Im a cloth user but can still adopt this idea as it drives me nuts when you only have the one hand to pull out those bags and they all come out.
As a cloth user Please give a huge thanks to your neighbor. I am so scared of nappy pins but thakns to the snappy nappies there is no fear involved in pricking baby bug or myself. Expecting number 4 soon and still plan to use the good old cloth
I know what you mean! I WAS SO EXCITED TOO! And I thought WHY!!! didn’t I think of it before?
No four! That’s awesome Erin! Congratulations.
