My house can go from looking neat and tidy to chaos in just half an hour! It’s often just surface mess and I can get everyone motivated to clean by putting on some fun music and running around saying, “YOU CAN DO IT!” I help out for the first few minutes and I keep repeating, “YOU CAN DO IT!” They catch on quickly and get into the excitement of it all. Even my 3 year old gets into the spirit of things. In a jiffy things are tidy and clean. I reserve the YOU CAN DO IT! for when things are really messy so it is still fresh and fun.
YOU CAN DO IT!

Hey Kelly,
What a great tip, love this!
Hi Kelly,
What a day!!! I felt like I'd lost control of my three children and thought I need to fix this!!! Within an hour I found you, thanks for the tips!!! Kel…..
This is a wonderful tip, Kelly! Words, both negative and positive, have a huge effect on children and us mother's should use it to our advantage to grow positively motivated thinkers.
